In conjunction with our expert nutritionist, you will gain from this seminar a great understanding of how to read nutrition facts labels, how to start and maintain a healthy diet that offers the vital nutrients the body needs to reverse a predisposition or can better manage many of the cardiovascular and digestive related diseases that plague us.
Nutrition, Fundamentals, Weight Control and Healthy Eating will all be addressed. Knowing what and how fats, proteins and carbohydrate aid and affect the body is a third of the battle. Knowing what foods to eat and when to maintain or lose weight is another third. Finally, knowing how to incorporate this knowledge in your daily consumption brings it full circle.

In conjunction with our culinary arts expert, you will participate in a healthy cooking segment that will leave you with knowledge, ideas and tips on how to prepare foods rich in nutrients, flavor and antioxidants while being low in fats, sugar, cholesterol and sodium.
After our minds are fed then we'll enjoy the healthy meal we've prepared together.
